How the number is worked out
Every owned game is priced at its current Steam store price in USD, then added up. It is replacement cost, not spend: Steam does not publish purchase history, and nobody pays list price for a whole library.
Free-to-play and delisted games have no store price at all. They are counted separately rather than as zero, because folding them in would quietly understate the library. The profile's game details must be public.
